Sonia & Nigel are heading to Hawai'i! 🌺🎶✈️🌈

Kia ora!

Hoping this finds you all well in your various pockets of New Zealand and the world… ❤️

We are very much looking forward to a fast approaching musical trip to Hawai'i ✈️

We will be flying off from Auckland to Honolulu this Tuesday, June 11th. This will be the 1st time we get to share our "Sweet Paname" book & CD project in concert outside of New Zealand - pretty exciting! 👋🌎🎶

Here are the performances we have booked in Hawai'i so far. Please let your friends on Oahu know about our visit and we are also available for house concert bookings or music workshops/lessons (individual or group) if anyone is keen on that:

- On the afternoon of Thursday June 13th, we will be playing/busking from 2 to 6pm at the FarmLovers Market at Hale‘iwa, North Shore Oahu: 59-864 Kamehameha Hwy, Haleiwa - at Waimea Valley. Please come and say Aloha 😊🌺

We may be back at the market again the following Thursday if all goes well...

- On June 21st, we will have the great pleasure of being hosted by the Alliance Française Hawaï to celebrate World Make Music Day / Fête de la Musique with an evening French duo concert of original and other tunes at the Fusion Cafe + Wine Bar

3457 Waialae Ave Ste 102, Honolulu, HI

Friday June 21st 2024, 5:30 to 8:00PM.

As tickets are limited and selling fast, please make sure to book ahead:

- Shortly before our June 26th departure from Hawai'i, we will be playing 3 short music sets on the evening of Monday June 24th as part of an intimate special food & music pairing soirée at Margotto Hawaii

The venue is very small and table booking can be made here:

Mahalo nui to our friends Bob & Sheila for helping make this visit happen, to the musical organizers and to our very generous hosts James & Evy as well ❤️

After Nigel Gavin heads back to New Zealand on June 26th, Sonia will be embarking on an adventurous international solo musical adventure, traveling with a busking amp and her ukulele across the USA by train/bus, touring with an acapella world music women's choir in Reunion (next to Madagascar) then playing at the Los Angeles International Ukulele Festival, among other things. If you'd like to follow her journey, tune in to some shared music and/or get on board with supporting her trip, she'll be updating this site regularly:☕🎵

Many thanks to those who have visited and shown support on the page already!

Much love to you all from us two,

xoxo Sonia & Nigel
